Tia Simone created Rise Under The Heat [R.U.T.H.] as a creative outlet to express herself after the tragic loss of her mother in 2018. As a survivor of domestic violence, Tia Simone strives to use Rise Under The Heat to inspire others, especially young women, through photography, writing, dancing and her enlightening podcast. She has a degree in communication and a dream of working in the entertainment industry. She resides in Durham, NC with her loving dog, King Kong.
